The life of an adventurer is full of excitement and wonder. Traveling the world, meeting new friends, bonding over stories around a fire, and enjoying the hospitality of the locals after you aid their village. But it can also be cruel and dangerous. Not every adventurer returns home one day to boast of their accomplishments. Monsters, bandits, and rival adventurers have a way of cutting one’s journey short. So those that take this path in life often make the most of it at every opportunity. It’s not uncommon for adventurers to seek the comforts of another’s arms on nights they are lucky enough to spend in a tavern. For one night they let all their worries, stress, and aches of the road fade away. Tomorrow doesn’t matter, only the ecstasy their night together offers. When the sun rises they thank each other for the company and go their separate ways, often in opposite directions. But what happens when the woman is left with a piece of the man still inside her? An accidental gift growing into an eternal reminder for the night of passion they shared?

Hiya, thank you for reading my little intro to the plot and idea I wanted to explore! Sharing a bed with someone you just met can always be nerve wracking and exciting. Especially more so in a world of fantasy where you both have the dangerous lives and professions of adventurers. You never know if tomorrow will be your last, so why not live every night to the fullest?
But in this roleplay I’d love to explore the consequences of that lust filled night and how our two adventurers adapt to their new life as an accidental family. Do they continue to stubbornly adventure, determined to not let the sun set on their exciting life just yet? Do they try to settle down together and give this whole family thing a shot? Trying to adapt from a life of adventure… to the life on a small farm or running a little shop/tavern? Of course, settling down together could be awkward and come with many stresses on its own. Like getting to know the future mother/father of their child, sharing the responsibilities of their new career, adapting to domestic life, and worst of all… taxes. All while their hearts yearn to be on the road again.
So who exactly are these two adventurers that are going to suddenly find themselves as soon-to-be parents? Complete strangers that happened to be staying at the same tavern for the night? Rival adventurers from two separate parties that don’t get along at all managing to find a way into the same bed for a rough night of settling their differences? Members of the same party/guild that let a night by the fire under the stars seduce them? Or perhaps they are sharing in each other’s warmth during a blizzard on a wintery night?
Finally, what happens afterwards? I already offered some ideas with them potentially trying to settle down together. But there are endless possibilities in a fantasy world. Perhaps the mother doesn’t even find the father? The next time he sees her she has a bundle in her arms or a small child holding her hand with a striking resemblance to him? Both of our characters don’t even have to be adventurers if that’s a route you want to take! I could be the tavern maid or farm girl you spend the night with! Likewise, you could just be a simple tavern keep or farmer that is lucky enough to plant their seed into a famous heroine!
