Info for adult game devs: non-exclusive publishing platform - Affect3D's Artist Program
Hi everyone,
Thanks for the mods for the approval 😄
I wanted to share information about an artist / developer program for adult game, animation, comic creators. This post is meant to be informational, and it also addresses the most common questions and concerns that usually come up, so everything is transparent upfront.
This is not an exclusivity offer, and there’s no obligation — it’s simply an additional option some developers may want to test.
What this is
We work with Affect3D, a store focused on adult games, animations, and comics. The platform has been active in the 3DX space for 10+ years and currently works with 200+ artists.
Creators who publish on the platform receive:
- 60% revenue share on each sale
- No exclusivity (you can continue selling elsewhere)
- Access to an artist portal to manage content, stats, and payouts
- Multiple payout options (crypto, Paxum, PayPal, wire)
- A dedicated artist manager to help with onboarding and technical questions
- Easy onboarding & publishing process
How releases are supported
When a new release goes live, we actively support it across multiple channels:
- Homepage visibility, including placement on the homepage and slider banner
- Mentions on our social channels
- A dedicated article on the Affect3D blog, one of the oldest 3DX-focused blogs on the internet
- Inclusion in our weekly newsletter sent to 100,000+ subscribers
The goal is to give releases focused visibility rather than having them immediately disappear into a very large catalog.
About the revenue share (common concern)
A frequent reaction is: “60% sounds low compared to Steam / Itch / Epic.”
That’s a fair comparison — but in practice, what matters most is the amount earned at the end of the month, not the headline percentage.
For example:
- 60% of higher sales volume can outperform 70–80% of much lower sales
- A higher percentage doesn’t help if a release doesn’t get visibility or traction
- 60% - 30% - 10% rule: 60% for the artist - 30% for the affiliate - 10% for Affect3D
This program isn’t designed to replace existing platforms. It’s meant as an additional revenue channel you can test alongside Steam, Itch, Patreon, your own site, etc.
Affiliate program (optional)
Alongside the standard creator split, there’s also an affiliate program offering:
- 30% revenue share on referred sales
Some creators combine both:
- Publish with the 60% creator share
- Use affiliate links when promoting their own releases via socials, newsletters, or communities
If a sale comes through their affiliate link, that adds another 30%, meaning:
- Up to 90% on their own sales
- Plus 30% on other products their audience purchases on the store
This isn’t required — it’s simply an option some creators already use.
Why a smaller platform can still make sense
We’re fully aware we’re not a massive general storefront — and we don’t claim to be.
What we focus on instead:
- A niche, already-engaged adult audience
- Hands-on collaboration with creators
- Focused visibility per release
- A motivated team that actively supports launches
For some developers, that’s worth testing as a complementary channel. For others, it won’t be — and that’s completely okay.

That’s a fair comparison — but please do not compare us with the world biggest game platfomrs, we are 3dx & Ai fans who works hard to be the biggest adult entertainment platform on the internet. In practice, what matters most is the amount earned at the end of the month, not the headline percentage.
For example:
- 60% of higher sales volume can outperform 70–80% of much lower sales
