Scam Alert!
Hey everyone,
I unfortunately came across a really nasty scam recently and wanted to share what happened so other babies can keep an eye out in case something similar happens to them.
His name on Reddit WAS “NewStart8802” but he has now deleted his account.
He went by the name “Tim S” and used Microsoft Teams. He also made a fake account for a “previous sugar baby” he had and named it “Lisa R”.
He gave the story that he had been with Lisa for 2 years and helped her through university and he wanted to help another baby who needed financial guidance and support. He was VERY caring and acted like he wanted more than just my body. Sent a small payment even but when “allowance day” came, he turned the tides and tried to say he is a minor and threatened to send my content to my boss. (I live in a rural area. I didn’t give him my exact location or workplace but I gave too much so he narrowed it down and find my employee picture on the business website and found my boss). I ended up needing to go to my HR and then the RCMP.
I’ve attached a screenshot of the pictures he sent to me, in case he uses them again. And the information of his job he gave me. I’ve also attached a picture of myself in case he tries to use my pictures and pretend to be a sugar baby in the future.
I am aware I made mistakes in this dynamic and should have been more careful. I do not need lectures. I am sharing because I want others to be aware and safe.
