We’ve been together for a little under a year now, and things have been going so well! I’ve never been with a woman like you - smart, confident, charismatic - everything a guy could want. In the weeks leading up to the move, we were both so excited! Constantly chatting about decorations, activities in the neighborhood, and of course, a cute little puppy that we would adopt! The look on your face absolutely broke my heart. Our hopes and dreams of raising this little puppy were crushed in an instant. That day, which was supposed to be a wondrous start to our new life, turned into a mess. Instead of happily decorating our new apartment, we spent hours sitting on the bed crying.

I felt so bad. The girl I love sitting next to be bawling her eyes out. It was too much for me to bear. I racked my brain to find a solution. Whether it was a random spontaneous act, or something deep inside me finally coming to the surface, I’ll never know; but I got down on my hands and knees, looked up at you, and barked.
