I’m 22M and honestly, dating apps are exhausting.

I’ve tried pretty much all of them, put in decent effort with photos, bios, prompts, the whole thing. But if you’re not insanely good-looking or showing off some flashy lifestyle, it feels like you’re invisible.

Matches are rare. And when you do get one, it’s either a scam account, someone promoting their Instagram or they just never reply

And when someone does reply, the conversation dies in like 3 messages. It feels like everyone’s talking to 10 other people at the same time, so unless you’re immediately impressive, you’re out.

I’m not expecting anything crazy. Just a normal conversation, a genuine connection, something real. But it feels like that’s the hardest thing to find here.

Anyone else feel like dating apps are just not built for average guys? Or am I just doing something wrong?
