Me and my one of my friends were heading back home from the range and stopped at a gas station for some energy drinks. As we were walking out an old lady asked us for help to go in the store and get her coffee. She told us she has 10k and lived in the mountains, she owed her own coffee company and had heart disease. I walked her over to the coffee area in the gas station and after she made her cup she Insisted that I got one too so she could make me her coffee. She said she had creamer and Carmel candy in her car. After I refused a few times I finally just grabbed one and we headed to the register. As we were walking up she said word for word “Your friend. He stayed outside.” I said yeah and she asked “Why” I told her he had his dogs and she complained talking about he should’ve helped her too. After that I didn’t feel safe despite her being an old lady I was helping who had “heart disease” but nonetheless I had my gun tucked in my CCW holster. She told me to go ask my friend to make a cup of coffee too and when I went outside I told him that we should leave now and leave her. I felt bad but the situation didn’t feel right.
