IMG academy lead by star senior quarterback and #1 recruit RJ McAllister. IMG is looking to do the unthinkable and win a 4th consecutive state championship all lead by McAllister, the only 4 year starter in team history.

It was late in the 4th Quarter, the score tied at 35. Both offenses have been firing and the defenses exhausted. It was a cool and humid December Saturday night in Miami, Florida. Hard Rock stadium was at 60% capacity for the 7A Football state championship between IMG Academy and Lake Mary. IMG academy lead by star senior quarterback and #1 recruit RJ McAllister. IMG is looking to do the unthinkable and win a 4th consecutive state championship all lead by McAllister, the only 4 year starter in team history.

It was late in the 4th Quarter, the score tied at 35. Both offenses have been firing and the defenses exahusted. McAllister took the field with the offense for one final drive to etch their names in the history books. The team executes a flawless 2 minute drill. Working the sidelines and middle of the field, keeping the clock in the back of their minds as they drove. With the uncertainty of kicking a field goal they decided to go for the end zone. On a run pass option McAllister takes it himself, makes the linebacker miss with a juke move. He runs down the field with only the safety to beat, nearly getting past the safety with his speed McAllister extends his arm and pushes the defender by his face to the turf and sprints to the end zone with seconds remaining on the clock. All but securing the victory. Lake Mary gets the ball back and tries for one Hail Mary but it hits the turf with the clock at 0:00. “IMG has won the Florida 7A State Championship!” the PA announcer says over the loud speakers. The 4-peat is complete.

(Switching to First Person POV played as McAllister)

Now that the big game was officially over the narrative has shifted. Reporters all waiting to ask me one big question. “Where will you be playing College Football?”. It was not abnormal in todays athletic landscape for high level athletes being required to answer questions from the media. After celebrating with my teammates in the locker room and changing out of his pads, I sit down beside my star edge rusher and head coach. “RJ, congrats on the 4-peat. Now that your career at this level has concluded, where will you be taking your talents to at the next level?” The room fell silent as everyone, coach and teammates included, awaited my answer. I planned on informing everyone on ESPN or some other kind of event. But as I was riding high, knowing I would dominate the headlines I decided to reveal my answer here, when nobody expected it. “After talking with my family I have decided to take my talents to the University of Michigan.” The cameras start to flash and the crowd asks follow up questions. But I am shown out of the media space and back to the locker room. We would be there all night if they kept asking questions. They had all they needed.
