Sugar Shack Lake Geneva

Hi Everyone, long shot here. But I was at a bachelor party in Lake Geneva on Saturday May 2nd, and an incident occurred at around 1am on Sunday May 3rd.

I was brutally assaulted by the manger at the club and the bouncers after I confronted the manager about one of the employees who came around and asked if I wanted change at the front stage, then never came back.

He told me to find the girl and I told him she was gone or I couldn’t find her because there was so many people there. After I told him this and asked for my money back, he immediately grabbed me aggressively and pulled me into the entrance room.

Everything went blurry after that as I remember I was pulled onto a couch and the last thing I remember is a number of bouncers on me strangling me until I woke up on the concrete outside.

I called the cops and he took my statement and talked to the bouncers and manager inside.

The cop did not believe my story and was very manipulative to me the whole time. I wanted to press charges and he seemed completely annoyed at the premise. We then spoke on the phone and he threatened to press charges on me instead of the people inside.

A few days passed and he called me and insisted the video did not look good for me, threatening me with felony charges. Saying there was no video for when the fight started and I should have left myself after the manager grabbed me.

It’s all very blurry to me after the initial conflict as I was strangled and lost consciousness.

The whole situation is messed up and it seems the cop is protecting something.

I saw the manager screaming at a couple of the girls throughout the night, something just isn’t right about that place.

I’m trying to reach anyone who was working that night at the Sugar Shack to reach out to me to help me gain clarity on what happened. As I was pressured to drop the charges since the cop was threatening me with a felony. I have no record and haven’t ever even been in a fight before this happened.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading. This was very traumatic for me and I don’t know where to go from here.
