Trying to master the art of the “pop up status update” in scenarios that I’m making.

I’ve taken a liking to creating scenes with a sort of “RPG”/ story mode type feel to it where one or more of the characters is gaining stats throughout the course of the chat with an update to the characters stats being provided at the end of the AI message.

The stats tracker prompt is in the “scenario” part of the AI character where I was told it belongs. My issue isn’t getting the stats tracker to show up but it’s more so that for whatever reason the AI will change the wording in it on its own. Also when I make changes to it, it’s either not updated at all in the chat or it’s updated whenever the AI decides it wants it to be.

Any tips on how to prevent this? I’ve chatted with characters made by other users that have one of these “update trackers” and it was flawless.
