After a lengthy break focused on reading new updates of AVNs I'd already read and a re-read of Being a DIK and its numerous paths, here is my latest update on my AVN progress. As a reminder: for the most part, I randomly select the next AVN I read from a list of 120+ AVNs that I curated, so if you don't see some of the usual heavy hitters so far, this is why. If an AVN is popular or well known, it is already on my list to read eventually - I'm trying to spread out those popular AVNs, so it could be some time before certain favorites reach my screen.

Last 3 AVNs completed:
Bare Witness (3.50). An average AVN that is elevated to recommended by its strong cast of well-defined LIs. The story was serviceable, but once Chapter 3 began it became more rushed from scene to scene, and the solid pacing and scene transitions of the first 2 chapters was completely forgotten. The renders and animations were decent enough, but often the LI's facial expressions didn't match the tone of the scripted words, which created some scene awkwardness. The LIs, though, are the standout here, as most of them are engaging and attractive with solid paths and endings (some solo, some poly, some both) - my favorites are Athena, Heidi and Mora.
Strangers on Paper (3.50). An AVN that is still early in development, but is very well scripted, with 2 LIs that are both beautiful and interesting. Only one NSFW scene is available thus far, and no animations were used. The story isn't much, but the major strength is how well scripted the MC's conversations are with the two LIs, as the dialogue feels natural. Both LIs are engaging and have depth, and it is worth playing each's path (my favorite of the two thus far is Becca). Looking forward to future content, as my rating should continue to improve as the story and relationships develop further - this could easily become a Top 10 AVN for me.
Leap of Faith (4.25). A wonderful AVN that is truly deserving of its status as a "classic" of the format. A solid story featuring some humor and levity to offset the serious heartbreaking moments. The renders are solid for the most part, albeit a bit dated now. Special mention goes to the music soundtrack, which is fantastic. The only negative for me is that, while decent paths exist for the main LIs, not all of them were to my liking - my favorite LIs easily being Cece and Lexi, with the others nowhere close to their level.
