Police presence at (possibly) lot 13??

Other than the fact that it was an absolutely stunning day with a very nice solid breeze to keep the temperature down and thr bugs at bay, and while walking out at lot 12, where I always go, i was surprised by two pair of turtle tracks in the sand having built two separate nests!! The guy on the 4 wheeler came by and marked them this morning, just to the left of the lot 12 boardwalk.

Now as I was leaving at 11:30, i passed one park ranger and a few minutes later i passed 3....THREE.......KSC police officers heading out so what i'm going to guess was lot 13. Park rangers and KSC police I spend a lot of their time going on calls to lot 13.

So that should give you a clear indication of the reputation of the crowds out at lot 13, so if that's your cup of tea, knock yourself out. If you want more of a laid back crowd, I would suggest going to lot 12. There are plenty of other replies to people's posts in here, stating that they are going out for the first time or this will be their first visit. Some of us have tried to offer a lot of valuable information to first timers.

Now let me throw in this disclaimer: i'm not insinuating that the ONLY police and park rangers go out to lot 13 is for any kind of public disturbance. They also go out there for you medical issues, but there is a higher percentage of them going out there for calls for complaints and disturbances.

You haven't lived until you've lived the nudist lifestyle.

The title of this says it all. I've been a nudist since I was very young. And I cannot think of any other lifestyle that I would enjoy more. Things in society are sooooo different than they were 30 years ago. And it is a shame the mindset that society has towards the nudist lifestyle, being raised as a nudist, and just trying to live your life and enjoy it to its fullest.Because we are only here for a short time!

I don't understand what society's problem is with this lifestyle.Because we were born naked and we should live naked. I don't understand why everything short of breathing oxygen has to be sexualized and dramatized

Makeshift nude sun bathing during covid

It was such a pain in a butt where I used to live during the COVID era,, because all of the barrier islands we're shut down only to residents, and you had to show proof of residency to access the island and the beach. Considering everything was shut down, I had to improvise to be able to nude sunbathe. So where I was renting, I went to Lowe's and bought a bunch of dowel rods and a roll of weed barrier blanket for a flower bed. I constructed a makeshift wind screen that you could buy for the beach and used a paddle drill bit to drill a hole in the ground in the backyard to stick the dow rods down in the ground.

Once I had it ready to use i realized that the weed barrier was a little see through but I didn't care. My landlord lived in the center of a subdivision with houses all around.

So that's my story of how I survived being able to nude sunbathe, when virtually, all of society was shut down for the stupid covid situation. If you want to do something bad enough, you will figure out a way!

This is directed at quite a few of the private messages I have had, and some of the posts made by single guys ive seen in here.; potentially looking to go to playalinda lot 13 with ulterior motives ( specific intentions).

Guys....dont do this!!!!! What this is going to equate to is single guys walking up and down the beach looking for a single female laying by herself, minding her own business you walk up and starts talking to her. THIS IS PRECISELY WHY SINGLE SOLO FEMALES NO LONGER COME TO THE BEACH!!!!

I witness this firsthand years ago, and even as a couple of months ago, where a female laying by herself, was keeping to herself or reading, and a random guy or even two guys separately walk up and start talking to her. I sat there and watched her become uncomfortable, and I completely blow the guy off and he did not take the hint. I also witnessed his "arousal" begin to "flare".... Is how I will put it diplomatically.

Please do not come to a nude beach looking for a hookup!!!! It's no wonder people get the wrong impression of such a beautiful, relaxing, enjoyable atmosphere such as a nude beach. And don't stand up at the top of the boardwalk, at lot, 13 scanning, the crowds! Now yer juat a creeper and you could probably guarantee having a park rangers called on you!

Have you come to a new beach with alterior motives? Or something else in mind just do yourself a favor and go to Caliente resort or Secrets resort.

Mid 50s male here. I have NO ulterior motives other than casual conversation.

sunrise

I prefer lot 12 as its more laid back with less of a drining/party atmosphere and i have seen WAY less guys trying to pick up solo females than they do at 13. Also less gawkers standing on the top of the boardwalk "standing watch"

Have even had a few discussions with other lot 12'ers about this very topic. Personally, I don't care if they hover, but others are not cool with it.

I am seeing more and more posts pop up where people are sharing that "this is my/our first time at (insert beach name).

I think its amazing and i applaud those folks for stepping into a new realm of life and getting past the misconceptions of nude beaches (and perhaps) the nudist lifestyle.

My hats off to you all (and clothes also. Lol). Welcome to an amazing lifestyle/activity.
