Just finished a 3-day road trip and figured I’d finally check out the whole “rest stop cruising” thing I’ve always been curious about. Honestly, most of the stops were total duds, mostly guys looking to do their thing and get out quick.

But one stop in Tennessee felt different.

I actually had to piss, so I pulled into a rest area and started using the urinal. A trucker (40s) came in and took the urinal two spots away. While we were both going, he started making a real show out of it, hand on the wall, grunting noises, the whole deal. We were the only two guys in there, and it definitely felt like he was trying to get my attention.

There were no dividers, so of course I glanced over at one point (he had a pretty solid package tbh), but he never looked back at me directly. I finished up and went to wash my hands, and he followed right after. What really threw me off was that he waited until he got to the mirror to finally put himself away and zip up. I could see his dick before he pulled up his boxers.

I couldn’t tell if all the showboating was meant as an invitation or if I was reading too much into it. Didn’t want to assume wrong in a public restroom, so I left. However, I watched for a bit and he didn't come out.

Anyone else been in situations like this? What are the actual signs someone’s trying to initiate something and what should I have done?
