Curious about how foot fetishes work, would love any help in figuring it out!
Firstly, hello to everyone!
A while back i made a post on another subreddit of a related topic asking a few questions about how people's interest in feet worked for them, and i got some helpful responses in the comments, as well as some on my DM's, and one person told me to make a post here because it would likely yield more answers as the other subreddit was more focused on appreciation of feet instead of the talking aspect, and that also i didn't have to include a picture to post here, which i think was mandatory on the other subreddits.
In my other post i explained that foot fetishes were a little perplexing to me, and that i wanted to figure out what aspects someone would fin physically attractive in a foot. I explained that i had managed to figure out that when it came to women people seemed to like petite, smooth and unblemished feet, which i could see some sense in since things with those characteristics just tend to look pleasant even if i don't find them sexually attractive.
I also explained that i hadn't managed to find such a baseline for men, and that people seemed to like all kinds of feet, from rough and calloused to smooth, from plain and slim to veiny, from hairy to totally hairless, the bottoms or the tops, and lots of other things as well, like even them being dirty or sweaty. That was even more perplexing to me since, in my perspective, when a foot stops being squeaky clean, smooth and hairless it goes from "just another body part" to "ew" very quickly. I also have problems touching feet when they aren't freshly cleaned, which is why the sweaty and dirty thing was so perplexing hahaha.
I also chalked most of my bewilderment on this topic up to me not being physically attracted to men, which might have caused some sort of bias against male feet specifically even if subconsciously.
So, i've come here to further sate my curiosity on the topic like that helpful person suggested. I'm gonna leave a few questions below and i'd appreciate any answers to any of them:
When did you figure out you had a thing for feet? Was it something that changed or evolved as you aged? Did it change in intensity as you got older?
How exactly did you begin to figure out you had an interest in them?
Lots of people told me they like the intimacy aspect of the foot, since where they live it is usually hidden and not something you see, then they do the foot itself. Is that an aspect for you as well? Do you find getting to look at or touch someone's foot to be an intimate thing?
Some people also said it's more of a domination thing, like being beneath someone's feet or having someone beneath theirs. Do you find that also applies to you?
I did also get lots of responses from people who like them physically too, which help me build a few questions about that as well.
What aspects do you think attractive in a foot? What is physically appealing or unappealing? Do you like the soles or the tops more? Does the age of the foot's owner matter at all to whether you find it attractive? Does the attractiveness of the rest of the person (like their face or build) change your liking of their feet?
I know that's a lot of text, so please answer only whatever you feel comfortable with! I have always been a big fan of understanding people and what drives them so i'll appreciate any response at all.
