Need reassurance/opinions on recent PA experience
I’ve been wanting a Prince Albert for a year or so now, and just a few months ago also started wanting a guiche piercing also. I talked myself up to make an appointment to get both done in the same appointment with the only advertised below the belt piecer close to me that isn’t and hour away. I showed up and wasn’t met with the hopeful reassuring vibes, my peircer was very honest and realistic I guess. He immediately clocked my note about wanting both peircings and said they both take care to heal and care for but a guiche is more prone to bacteria so I decided to stick with only a PA since I was already signing the papers but I already had a bad taste in my mouth.
Before I got on the table I asked what gage he plans on using and what side the piercing would be on since I can’t really tell if I have a frenulium and the idea of a symmetrical piercing on my dick that dosent have a curve sounds pretty cool, he kinda changed the subject and talked about how he does all his pa’s with an 8 gauge. I layed on the table, asked for a stress ball cause I was pretty nervous and kinda emotionally beat… I really wanted a peircer who would be more comforting and more on my mental level I guess.
Peircing in my in my opinion was a solid 6/10, felt like my tip got stuck in a zipper
Thankfully, my peircer was a registered nurse with 20 years of labor and delivery experience plus a decent amount of years as a peircer. He was very detailed about the healing process, cleaning, and maintenance. I payed 100$ for my piercing, tipped 15% out of courtesy, and waddled to my car.
That first 24 hours was not what I was expecting, I understood that bleeding was gonna happen and I had throw away underwear and loose shorts prepared for the next few days but oh my god. I was wearing a pantie liner with a condom to hold it in place and I’ve never seen so much blood come out of my body. I changed my dressings every 5 ish hours because I had to use the restroom and it was insane. I kept my shit wrapped consecutively for the following three days just to make sure I didn’t bleed on my shorts at work and everything stayed in place. Yesterday I started wearing loose shorts with no wraps and so far so good, I just have to be cautions cause my curved barbell gets irritated when jt rubs on the middle seam of my underwear or my shorts. I’m experiencing minor bleeding (just enough to sprinkle the urethra) but it washes away when I pee.
Am I crazy feeling a little upset that my peircer didn’t consult which side I wanted the Peircing to be of my frenulum (it ended up on my left). What was yalls preference with underwear and shorts while healing.
