Poses as a woman, but she's not. It's a bunch of guys operating this TG and reddit account. They only post reviews and requests to connect in the TG group.

MO: Will claim real meet only after VC to check 'vibes'. Will take payment only in the form of Amazon GC saying that the bank account is frozen due to multiple frequent transactions. If you ask for verification VC will charge 500. As soon as you share the Amazon GC you will be blocked on TG and reddit

As created in the Delhi meet up group, we should also have a thread just to pick out the scammers operating in the group.

I suggest the below SOP

1. Victim comments in the thread tagging the username of the alleged scammer and mention how he/she was scammed and raise a request to ban the alleged scammer

2. Mod will ask the victim to submit proof of the scam (which is defined below) on DM

3. Mod will verify the proofs submitted and decide whether it's a scam or not

4. The alleged scammer can also submit proofs against accusations to the mod. If there's no response from the scammer in 24 hours they should be considered guilty

5. If it is a scam, the scammer's user name should be banned preventing the scammer from further using this group to scam the users anymore. If not, the mod can mention insufficient proofs and not ban the accused/ or ask for more proofs

Proof of the scam could be the below

1. SS of the chats between accused and victim

2. Proof of payment/ transfer of gift card

3. SS of the scammer blocking from their TG group/ personal account

A word of caution for anyone trying to avail any kind of services be it online or offline, make sure you take screenshots of the personal chat with the supplier more so when you share with the proof of payment. Be it GC code or payment screenshot. This is because the scammers will immediately delete all the personal chats and block you and you'll be left with no proof of communication with the scammer
