It didn't an expert to tell that wage gap between men and women was a real thing. The world over, countless women would be worked to the bone and get paid much lesser than their male colleagues. The situation was much more apparent in third world countries. India was no exception to the norm. Multiple jobs with a "males only" stamp would weed out a lot of opportunities. From the posts left, decently paid ones would be swept up in a blink of an eye. The remaining jobs would see the women overworked and severely underpaid.

Such was the story of Priya. Working in a firm in a city, the woman had imagined the job to be a cushy one. Having graduated with solid grades, Priya managed to secure an entry level job at one of the local companies.
