The Mansion on Caldey Island
To whom it may concern my name is Sulwyn daughter of Iwan the Knowing. 1,125 years ago my family was killed by people we had lived among for over four-hundred years (my mother was Dullahan and my father was Hoshaire). And I was utterly powerless to save them. Their cries still haunting me in my sleep (I hardly get rest)
But I didn’t write this letter seeking counseling. The reason I sent this letter is a proposition I’m offering. To join me in my mansion, and begin tutoring students. My hope is to one day build a castle that will accommodate more. But I have spent most of my money, so that’ll sadly have to wait.
If you accept this job, you must tell me what class of magic you teach, and provide appropriate information. With you and me being the only current teachers our hours are going to be grueling. And I’m hoping to accept students of all races. So we will need to accommodate those with unique needs.
Of course the pay will be split half-and-half. A rate which is going to change once we get more teachers on board. You will be provided with your own room, and I will provide food. My mansion also has a library on each floor that you’ll have access to.
Then my final condition is this is a girls only school. This does not mean I won’t accept male teachers. Just don’t expect to stay male, as I’ll help fix the dilemma. If you are interested, please contact me back as soon as you can.
