Hey there! Thanks for reading my post. Please excuse the brand new profile, I have an on again, off again relationship with Reddit that I just turned on again. Everyone has to start (or restart) somewhere, right?
TL;DR: As the title states, I'm a 36M Daddy/Dom located in the Southeastern USA, and I'm searching for an alpha sub for a long-term, monogamous dynamic.
About me: I'm a bookworm, an amateur writer, a sci-fi nerd, a horror enthusiast, a gamer (PC and tabletop), a musician, an educator of adults, and the proud owner of a very dignified cat who will compete with you for my attention. I generally identify as a Soft Dom. That's not to say I can't dole out punishment with the best of them - I certainly can - but rather that I'm far more likely to sit my sub down and talk through a problem than I am to immediately go to punishment, and that I prefer to use other disciplinary measures before resorting to physical correction.
I value open communication, honesty, transparency, and mutual respect. I believe that every aspect of a dynamic must be centered around consent, and that consent should be checked frequently, especially early on in a dynamic. I also believe that consent should be clear and enthusiastic, consent that is murky or tepid is, to me, a sign that someone is not consenting but afraid to say so. I use the traffic light system for checking consent, but am open to any other systems you might prefer.
About you: You are a cis woman, a trans woman, or a femme presenting or identifying individual. You're tough and driven to succeed, even if you haven't achieved the success you desire yet. You plan, make goals, and chase the things you want. You're a badass and proud of it, and you want to be with someone as driven as you are.
When it comes to kink, though, you want to submit. Maybe kink is an escape from your otherwise busy and take-charge life. Maybe it's a place to relax and wind down from being awesome all day.
