so like… imagine this with me for a second:
it’s a big, loud, glowing game show stage — lights everywhere, crowd screaming, everything kinda feels surreal like a dream i had after falling asleep to SZA on loop.
and i am her.
not like cosplay… like i’m in her body, soft voice, pretty but slightly overwhelmed, trying to stay focused but everything keeps happening to me 😭
the show (it’s simple but chaotic):
giant centre pit of thick, glossy, neon green slime (like real Nickelodeon type… heavy, slow, inescapable)
two teams, each with a celeb leader… and yeah, i’m leading one of them
it’s trivia but messy:
contestants answer questions
every correct answer = 30 seconds added to my slime time
when the clock runs… i’m lowered into the slime pit
goggles on. hair tied. breathing like “okay girl focus.”
i’m neck/chest deep in it… reaching around, blind, trying to find these little yellow star tokens while everyone’s screaming at me from above 😭
the more i find, the more we win.
but here’s the thing…
nothing ever just goes smoothly for me.
i’m trying to stay calm, competitive, in my little SZA world…
and then:
i pop up for air? boom pink slime dumped over my head
i finally find a star? someone’s laughing, next second — pie to the face
i’m wiping my goggles, trying to lock in… host is teasing me, crowd’s screaming, i’m slipping back under 😭
it’s playful, messy, kinda humiliating but also funny?? like i know i look crazy but i’m still trying to win.
