42yo getting back into PE, need advice on budget devices and a sleeve I cannot find
Hey all, looking for advice from the experienced guys here.
I'm 42 and unfortunately have been gaining weight over the past few years. I went from around 15% body fat to about 27%, and I've noticed I've lost close to an inch of length because of it. I'm working on losing the weight but also taking my penis health seriously since things are getting harder as I age. My erections aren't what they used to be either. Original measurements were 8 inches bone pressed and 5.5 inch circumference, so I'm trying to get back to that and maintain what I have (and expand on it)
I've been pumping on and off for a couple years and I really like the results. My erections stay strong for days after a session. The problem is my sleeve got destroyed a while back and I haven't been able to find a proper replacement.
About my current setup: I have a 12 inch cylinder pump. The issue is all the 12 inch cylinders are wide at the base, and I cannot find a donut sleeve that fits properly to give me a good seal. I've contacted multiple companies and nobody can help me. To be clear, when I say sleeve I mean the donut style sealer that goes around the opening of the pump, not the kind that goes inside your penis. On top of that the nozzle at the top of my cylinder broke and I haven't been able to find a replacement screw on nozzle either.
The one sleeve that actually worked for me was a flesh colored vagina style insert that you put inside the cylinder. I super glued it on and it gave me a perfect seal and was honestly amazing. Picture attached below. Unfortunately it got discontinued and Amazon says it is currently unavailable, with no estimate on when or if it will come back. If anyone knows where to find this exact one or something close to identical please let me know.
I could theoretically use my 12 inch pump without a sleeve if I shaved my pubic hair, but I don't want to do that, and using it without any sleeve at all is quite painful.
So in the meantime I'm thinking about just getting a cheap electric pump for convenience. I found one on Amazon for about 11 bucks (picture attached). I've also seen others around 26 to 30 bucks that look almost identical. Is there any real difference between an 11 dollar electric pump and a 30 dollar one? They look the same in the listings. The only concern I have is that the cylinder is only 8 inches, and when I get fully engorged I'm worried the head of my dick might hit the top of the cylinder.
For hanging, I've been considering vacuum hangers. I know noose style hangers can hold more weight, but I've read they can cause nerve damage, and for me that risk is not worth it. I found this vacuum hanger on Amazon for around 10 bucks (picture attached) and I'm wondering if anyone has tried it or can recommend a similar budget option that actually works. I've been told that putting a little water in the cup helps with the suction and prevents blisters on the head.
I have also considered the golf weight trick, where you wrap gauze around the head and hang golf weights from it. Apparently four golf weights can do a lot of work, and the gauze is supposed to protect against nerve damage. My concern is that it would be pretty obvious under clothes, which is why a vacuum hanger appeals to me more. You can wear it all day, even at work, and nobody would know.
I've been following BD's material for a while and applying what I can. I've been doing manual stretching for about 10 years honestly, and I have not noticed much change from it, which is why I'm leaning into devices now. My theory is that wearing a device for hours every day is going to do more than short manual sessions. As BD says, technique is secondary and time is the most important factor. Stretching for long periods at low tension leads to growth without injury, and pumping at moderate pressure over long sessions with short intervals causes expansion without injury.
I believe BD says the technique that's best is the one that does not harm you has some scientific basis and that you're willing to put the most amount of time in.
This is why I believe that for me devices are probably the best they're both convenient with proper technique no risk of injury and usually get results over a period of time..
I thank you very much for your assistance
