I would love to get some opinions on this take, I feel like around the world different cultures have different views on feet. For instance I am Pakistani and if you’re from there you will understand exactly what I am trying to say but if your not I will do my best to try to explain it. There is a lot of exposure to feet there especially more than any other part of the body. They dress very modest but when it comes to footwear it’s always open toe heels or slides and normal around the house a lot of bare feet, prompted up on tables and what not. It does something to someone who is already kinda attracted to them, when the only thing he sees on a female that isn’t fully covered up are her well taken care of feet. They are very casual about it as opposed to most other things compared to for example the states where I live. Over here most people are too aware about it so try to cover them up and are conscious about it. If they do ‘expose’ them it’s an intentional decision as opposed to a casual/cultural norm. You can especially notice this on tv, if you click on any Pakistani tv shows in particular you are almost certainly confirmed to get clear shots of the actors feet in bed or sitting around soles fully exposed facing the camera. In western films and tv it’s an intentional decision to show off the feet for more attention and clicks. That is if they are open to using these ways, most of the time scenes with feet out aren’t included…
I would love to hear your take on this and would love to hear about your cultures and their relationship with feet.. If you are a Pakistani or from South Asia or the Middle East do let me know if you relate at all or am I crazy lol
