Clients: what is an excuse/reason that you gave a companion for not meeting that was real but may sound like BS.
Companions can also chip in. I have had to cancel or reschedule a couple of times and thinking retrospectively now they may sound like BS reasons but were totally real.
Companion A - this was about 10 year ago. never met her before and I think she was touring. Had an appointment scheduled and the night before I stubbed my toe against a wall. It hurt like hell but went to bed. Next morning toes were swollen and I could barely walk. X-rays revealed 2 broken toes. Messaged her to let her know but never heard back. IIRC there was no cancellation policy, no deposit and I was going to figure out how to send her something but no response.
Companion B - more recently and someone who I had seen a few times. No deposit. Was traveling to her city and had something planned (event and dinner etc). A close family member passed away a few weeks before we were to meet and I couldn’t make the trip. Gave her the event tickets (she went with a friend) and said I would make it up to her. Met up a few months later - came bearing gifts.
