Homemade lube is cheap and abundant, which makes being circumcised even more favorable
Before I got circumcised myself at the age of 24, I had been holding back from getting it done for just one doubt I had. It was the need for lube. Whether a circumcised guy necessitates lube or not is a matter of how much moveable skin is left, that is what I've known.
But I was sure back then that I wanted a tight circumcision for the full hygiene and cosmetic benefits. I also prefer the tighter feel during activity. So I would always need lube for any sexual action.
I've always thought that lube is relatively pricey over time for a tightly circumcised guy, especially in comparison to a guy with a foreskin who doesn't need any of it. This might be the case for ready-to-use store-bought lube, but not the case for homemade lube. And it is very easy to do.
The secret to cheap and abundant lube is called xanthan gum powder. Half a teaspoon of it turns a cup of water into mucosal gel. It can be hard to dissolve, so I recommend using an electric whisk or hand mixer to blend it with water. The gel is very similar in viscosity and texture to the natural precum of a guy.
To showcase how cheap and cost-effective xanthan gum powder is, I simply say that with $15 to $30 or 12€ to 25€, you could buy 1 lb or roughly 500 g of xanthan, with which you could fill half a bathtub full of lube which will last you decades or even a lifetime. Knowing that I need it for the rest of my life, I could also buy it in larger quantities to get a bulk discount on top. It is a white and dry powder that barely expires, so it can be stored for years.
The gel smells like tasteless bubble gum, so I would recommend adding a few sparse drops of essential oils for a pleasant fragrance and healing effects on the skin against minor chafing and scrapes. It is also anti-fungal and helps to fight off mold; thus, essential oils act a bit like a preservative.
TL;DR: With xanthan gum powder, lube is so cheap and cost-effective that the need for lube isn't an excuse to keep that excessive and disposable foreskin. The usage of lube really isn't a big deal. And in my opinion and experience, being circumcised and using lube is haptically just better than using that obstructive foreskin.
