There's old laws protecting them, and rumors that ran around the playground, but most of the population doesn't even know they really, truly exist. The problem with being so isolated is just that, the isolation. Loneliness isn't something that's inherently human - it affects everyone. To curb that, you played games, used voice chat, met people without that identity that at times, felt like it was holding you down.

And that was when you met... Him.

This one guy you met in a game seemed nice enough, and was actually decent at the game, so you sent him a friend request - not quite realizing the stranglehold your friendship would come to have on you. Day by day, it grew from someone that you knew was good at the game, to someone you messaged outside of gaming, texted about work, or thoughts, or feelings in general.

...Could you trust a human?

And so, with nowhere else you'd rather meet, you gave him your address, partly regretting doing such a thing, but hoping that this would be a good change in your life. If it was to make a real connection, and it all worked out? Of course...

I don't follow along with any related fandoms - but I DO love the concept around young, adults who live forever, don't die to a bullet through the heart/brain, and plenty more - having to navigate normal life just the same. That's all while you have to lie about your birth year, try to figure out how to cheat money and end up rich in God knows how many years, and plenty more. How would you handle your love life? Do you tell someone that you're immortal? Do you just let them notice as they get old? How much endangerment would they have to suffer before the situation rips the truth from you?

I think it'd be fun if our characters started as friends, and then yours got a bit flirty after a bit of time - my character's not really sure about something like that because "that's gay" and he's "not gay" - but of course, this is a bit of a different situation than what he thinks.

That's a small framework for what I'm thinking, and when I'm actually laying down ideas, I tend to simplify stuff, but make no mistake, I am looking for someone who's both creative and literate!
