Trying to make the SD/SB scene a little less scammy for both sides
Been seeing way too many posts lately about SDs getting scammed by fake profiles, fake verification, random money demands etc… and on the other side, genuine SBs getting ghosted right after verification or after days of chatting. At this point both sides are honestly tired of wasting time and dealing with fake intentions.
So I thought of trying something a little more fair, transparent, and beneficial for everyone involved.
Over time I’ve connected with a couple of genuine SBs whom I personally verified properly, had actual conversations with, and know are real people. I’ll also be attaching screenshots with usernames scribbled out for privacy, just to show these are actual real profiles I’ve collected over time and not some made-up thing.
Instead of the usual random time-wasting, fake setups, ghosting after verification, or endless chatting with no intentions, I’m thinking of helping serious SDs connect in a more filtered and genuine way.
Reason being, if someone is willing to put even a little commitment into the process, chances are they’re actually serious and not there just to waste time, collect pics, verify and disappear after a few days. It filters out a lot of unserious people instantly and helps both sides avoid wasting energy.
At the same time, this could also help genuine SBs avoid fake SDs, unnecessary ghosting, and endless chatting with people who never had serious intentions in the first place. Genuine SBs can DM too if they’d like to be part of the verified list, since the whole idea is creating a more genuine and transparent space with serious people from both sides.
Not trying to turn this into matchmaking or anything against sub rules mainly sharing an idea that could help reduce fake profiles, scams, ghosting, and time wasting for people who are actually genuine.
And yeah, this is a new account because I didn’t want to involve my main ID with this topic. Keeping things separate for privacy reasons.
So yeah, SDs can DM for more details, and SBs can DM too if they’d like to be added to the verified list and connect with genuine people only 🙌
