[F4F/TF/Fu] Sharp Bonds (Mortal Kombat RP)
Hello everyone! I’ve been recently interested in doing an RP around some MK characters, specifically Mileena and Kitana. The two of them have a very interesting dynamic that can be great to develop both characters in a story that focuses on their relationship.
The story would take place mostly in Outworld and there would be some elements from headcanon so that we can have a story we can enjoy, this can also help explain why there’s no war going on or why most of the events of the games don’t really happen in here.
Sindel would have remained the sole ruler of Outworld for many years while both Mileena and Kitana remained by her side as they trained and prepared to become the next rulers eventually. I would prefer if both Mileena and Kitana were sisters, but we can also go with Mileena being created as a clone for her origin.
With all this, I want to really emphasize the fact that Mileena had been born with Tarkatan genes and how this affects her relationship with everyone around her. Some examples could be that she’s not allowed to leave the castle without wearing a mask nor is she considered as a candidate to become ruler due to this.
All of this would naturally lead Mileena to feel ignored and excluded, while Kitana would be the only one to accept her fully for who she is, eventually leading to the two of them falling in love.
That would be the main idea behind the story, we can always flesh it out even further and add more ideas that could help with the character’s development. I would prefer playing as Mileena for this and I don’t mind playing as one or two more characters, but we can discuss this later on.
I should also mention that I don’t really want to focus on the violent aspects of the game for this, but I don’t mind having a few battle scenes in the story like having the character’s train with each other. I would prefer to RP this over on discord after we’ve discussed some details first.
