[CA] [Bay Area] Terrific experience at Sequoians — this weekend full of activities!
Just wanted to give a shout-out to the Sequoians in Castro Valley!
I've been in the Bay Area for a few years, and I've been struggling to find a good spot to enjoy with my family (and we tried!)
I recently visited the Sequoians myself for the first time and felt welcomed pretty much by everyone on the first day while enjoying some good trails, a nice patio, a good swimming pool, a great hot tub, and a very friendly atmosphere.
This weekend is full of activities, and it's the first time in a long time where we are all truly looking forward to go.
According to the website, there's going to be a foam cannon and 50 feet of slip and slide for guests & families to use on Sunday - on top of the bocce tournament, karaoke night and arts and crafts.
We've been going to a few clothing optional events over the years, but the foam cannon is going to be a first one for us. It also looks like we missed a treasure hunt a month or so ago? and robotic cars programming?
This Saturday has a baking contest! Followed by a potluck. The calendar is here: https://www.sequoians.com/calendar
As a side note, I had heard of the Sequoians before but not much I could find online. It seems like the community is going through a transformation project, with many new members, a new website, and a lot more activities.
