50 M4F 🎸 Dearly beloved … We are gathered here today to get through this thing called LIFE ✌🏾 #cst

🎶Electric word, that means forever, and that’s a mighty long time.
But I’m here to tell you there is something else
The afterworld🎸

If you read all of that in a particular voice, YOU are who I want to connect with!

I’m solidly GenX looking to wax nostalgia about the greatest childhood ever. We rode our bikes everywhere. Drank from the garden hose. Played outside all summer from sun up to sun down. Some of our parents didn’t know we existed and at 10:30pm each night, a PSA was broadcast on TV reminding them what time it was and asked if they knew where we were!

At school, we played four square, wall ball, ran our fingers on the concrete blocks and had actual chalk boards in class. Remember how awesome it was to get chosen to clean those erasers! Now that’s a job that no longer exists!

We were the MTV generation. We made the video star (but let’s not talk about what MTV is today). We watched shuttle launches, the Berlin Wall fall and reality TV (Hello Road Rules).

We remember a Europe before the Euro, exchanging money at each boarder crossing and perhaps traveling with cash and money orders.

Today, I'm 50 and fully embrace all things from my childhood. As a point of mention as well, I'm not white, just to get that out of the way, though I grew up mostly with white. I am though a white collar professional with a few college degrees with my name on them.

My musical interests were defined sometime in the late 90s. Some disposable income shortly after finishing undergrad and living in a big city allowed me to see Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, White Stripes, Soundgarden … all at small venues.

I’m a friendly flirty guy looking for a FWB situation with banter and the occasional meet up. My OPSEC is tight and I would expect yours to be as well. I’m looking for somebody that identifies primarily as GenX, Xennial, or maybe a Millennial.

I’m looking to connect with someone near my age to wax nostalgia of the 80s and 90s while sharing laughs of parenthood and life today.

If any of this resonates with you, let’s chat. Let’s talk about the greatest childhood. One that didn’t involve social media, smart phones, our parents knowing where we were at every minute, and enjoying a carefree life of no worries.

If you made it this far, congrats! Tell me, what was one of your favorite concerts you ever went to and what is one concert you regret NOT going to?

50 M4F I wish I had a button to send me to 1985 #cst

We had the best music.

No electronic monitoring.
No cell phones.
When you left the home, you were out in the wild.
Answering machines.
Friday nights were great … You’d hit the video store to pick up the hottest movie and a pizza … maybe from Pizza Hut.
Summer times were endless.
Once June rolled around, you’d see your friends all day, every day.
We didn’t go to camp (rarely vacations) … we hung out with friends.
Rode our bikes outside all day until the street lights turned on.
If you were really rebellious, you stayed out later.

Anyway, today, I’m 50 years old and waxing nostalgia of late. Remembering a bit too much about the good ol’ days. I’m married, 2 kids, and the whole 9 yards. I enjoy watching sports (NFL and MLB are my jam), catching up with friends over cocktails or any other beverages.

I’m looking for someone 40+ that generally has a good relationship at home. You’re married with kids, a white collar job and some flexibility to meet during the day if our stars align.

If any of this sounds interesting… let’s talk. Tell me who’s on your Spotify playlist of late!

50 M4F A loaf of bread, a container of milk, and a stick of butter #stlouis #mo

I remembered, I remembered!

I am a child of the 80s and 90s and have been waxing lots of nostalgia of late and would love to chat and banter about our awesome childhood.

Let’s share stories about how lucky we are that we didn’t have cell phones and social media in our days. I ate Flintstones vitamins, hung out at the malls with my friends, pegged my jeans, wore IOUs and Z Cavariccis that I bought from Merry Go Round, and played tons of Nintendo.

On the school playground, I played wall ball, four square, and red rover. My neighborhood friends just showed up to my home UNANNOUNCED, but never before Saturday morning cartoons were over. my favorite cartoons included Flintstones and Jetsons. Throw in some Tom & Jerry in there too.

We rode our bikes everywhere, knew every street in our neighborhood and got around without Google Maps. We played outside in the summer from sunrise to well past sunset. Oh, and can’t forget I was sent to the store for a loaf of bread, a container of milk, and a stick of butter.

If any of this resonated with you - you are who I am looking for and I want to talk about the greatest childhood ever. I'm 50 and fully embrace all things GenX. As a point of mention as well, I'm not white, just to get that out of the way, though I grew up mostly with white.

I’d like to connect with someone that is married, with some kids, and an otherwise healthy relationship at home. My OPSEC is tight and I would expect yours to be as well. I have the financial cover to run this relationship and expect you to as well.

I love traveling and some of my favorite domestic vacation spots include Florida, the Jersey Shore, and Arizona. My musical tastes were really defined sometime in HS and college. Bands include Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Cake, Incubus, Prince and a few local bands that never went very far. I'm a great conversationalist and love to chat. I'm going to ask many questions as you ask of me.

If you made it this far, what was your favorite breakfast cereal?

50 M4F Kids today have Spotify playlists, I spent hours mastering mixtapes 😅 #cst

and if you were *lucky*, the DJ didn’t talk over the intro. 😡

I do have Spotify today, but man, it was so much more fun to make mixtapes off the radio, wasn’t it?

Today, I’m in my early 50s and fully embrace all things from my 80s and 90s childhood.

I’m a white-collar professional, married with 2 boys. I enjoy watching and attending live sports (baseball and football are my jam, with some college ball thrown in there), and working out. I also enjoy visiting breweries and places to meet friends to catch up and chat. There is no better feeling than chatting with friends that you haven’t seen in a long time while enjoying a few beers. My beverages of choice depends on the time of day (and sometimes season of the year) - coffee, cocktails, and cold beers are generally good hits with me.

Ideally, I’d like to connect with someone that is married, with some kids. You generally get along with your spouse, can’t imagine life without them, but are looking for something fun.

If any of this interests you, drop me a line and tell me a bit about yourself … and maybe what was on that mix tape!

50 M4F Do you remember a Europe before the Euro? #chicago #il

I’m hitting that age where I’ll talk with friends or younger colleagues and I’ll tell them about my first trip to Europe back in 2000 and it almost feels like I’m talking about a place that no longer exists 🤣

There are memories we have as adults that bring warm thoughts and feelings and this 2 week trip is one of them for me. I remember buying a travel book from Borders (🪦) and a friend telling me all the plans he made on his Euro trip went straight out the window when they met some girls and decided to tag along with them.

I won’t forget riding the Metro in Paris and seeing purse dogs for the first time 🤣 (not sure why I’d never seen them before) and smoking ON the trains. Wow, did the French smoke E V E R Y W H E R E. I didn’t drink coffee back then to enjoy the cafes, but man, they really did have a ton of them.

Fast forward to today, I’m married, 50, 2 kids and the whole 9 yards. I love catching up with friends both in-person and online. My favorite domestic vacation spots include Jersey Shore, Hawaii and the gulf side of Florida. Internationally, I love the big cities - London and Tokyo are high on my list, but also have visited a few tropical locations

I’m looking for someone close to my age - white collar professional with some flexibility or cover in their schedule. I work in Chicago and meeting for a quick coffee, lunch, or after work dinner isn’t out of the question. Other things may come naturally over time. We should be natural friends first.

Anyway, if any of this vibes with you… let’s talk.

IYKYK 🤣🤣 Let’s see how many others “you get”

* Our morning reading was reading the back side of a cereal box (what are you eating, BTW)
* you remember which company had the “True Colors” jingle
* Where’s the beef?
* I don’t wanna grow up … I wanna be a Toys R Us kid

Hi. I’m a 50 year old, married, dad of 2. I’m a white collar professional and you’ll usually find me on the weekends at a baseball diamond. I’m not the dad coaching in the dugout, but admittedly watching and cheering my kid and his friends.

A good summer weekend to me is also spending time with friends with either a beer 🍻 or cocktail 🥃 on a patio somewhere. I’m usually the loud one that talks with my hands when I get REALLY animated.

I’m looking to connect with someone in a similar situation. You’re married, with some kids, generally well put together and people wouldn’t suspect you’re looking for … something because you outwardly are very happy. However, you ARE missing that spark.

If this sounds like you … tell me, what cereal box are you reading? 😃

49 M4F Be kind, please rewind #chicago #il

If you got that, I suspect you had the greatest childhood ever and you are who I want to connect with!

I want to wax nostalgia about the 80s and 90s!

Today, I’m a 49 year old married white collar male with kids. I live outside of Chicago and work in the Loop. I enjoy traveling, both to new and old locations. I’m looking for someone that is white collar as well and is open to a throwback to the carefree 80s and 90s.

I’m flirty and seek banter through my day and evening. My OPSEC is tight and would expect yours to be as well.

Perhaps we can trade messages like we did in grade school … in the hallway between passing periods.

If you made it this far, what was your favorite Trapper Keeper in the fourth grade and why was it a Lisa Frank?
