50 M4F 🎸 Dearly beloved … We are gathered here today to get through this thing called LIFE ✌🏾 #cst
🎶Electric word, that means forever, and that’s a mighty long time.
But I’m here to tell you there is something else
The afterworld🎸
If you read all of that in a particular voice, YOU are who I want to connect with!
I’m solidly GenX looking to wax nostalgia about the greatest childhood ever. We rode our bikes everywhere. Drank from the garden hose. Played outside all summer from sun up to sun down. Some of our parents didn’t know we existed and at 10:30pm each night, a PSA was broadcast on TV reminding them what time it was and asked if they knew where we were!
At school, we played four square, wall ball, ran our fingers on the concrete blocks and had actual chalk boards in class. Remember how awesome it was to get chosen to clean those erasers! Now that’s a job that no longer exists!
We were the MTV generation. We made the video star (but let’s not talk about what MTV is today). We watched shuttle launches, the Berlin Wall fall and reality TV (Hello Road Rules).
We remember a Europe before the Euro, exchanging money at each boarder crossing and perhaps traveling with cash and money orders.
Today, I'm 50 and fully embrace all things from my childhood. As a point of mention as well, I'm not white, just to get that out of the way, though I grew up mostly with white. I am though a white collar professional with a few college degrees with my name on them.
My musical interests were defined sometime in the late 90s. Some disposable income shortly after finishing undergrad and living in a big city allowed me to see Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, White Stripes, Soundgarden … all at small venues.
I’m a friendly flirty guy looking for a FWB situation with banter and the occasional meet up. My OPSEC is tight and I would expect yours to be as well. I’m looking for somebody that identifies primarily as GenX, Xennial, or maybe a Millennial.
I’m looking to connect with someone near my age to wax nostalgia of the 80s and 90s while sharing laughs of parenthood and life today.
If any of this resonates with you, let’s chat. Let’s talk about the greatest childhood. One that didn’t involve social media, smart phones, our parents knowing where we were at every minute, and enjoying a carefree life of no worries.
If you made it this far, congrats! Tell me, what was one of your favorite concerts you ever went to and what is one concert you regret NOT going to?
