What is the minimum piercing gauge for a RPA such that the hole doesn’t close after removing the rod for a 24 hour period? I had an RPA which I had to remove prepping for a medical procedure and couldn’t put it back in.

I had an RPA that closed after my piercing fell off without me knowing. Can I pierce the same spot? Thank you
