Do you think the GMO morphine yeast will be used in years/decades time in clandestine labs?

(here's what i'm talking about)

Do you think this'll be a possibility at all? I hear a lot of the scientists in this study are worried about this giving illegal drug manufacturers more access to opioids.

Though, as someone who despises the current state of illegal opioids over here in North America (I'm Canadian, so NO street opis are clean), I think this could lower the prices of things like heroin, which could very well "clean up" how pure opioids are in some aspect.

Am I thinking too optimistically?

I don't even like alcohol, but I still drink it to numb my brain.

I told myself I wouldn't be a "bitch" and reach out to people like this because I always see it as being desperate. I'm not trying to be desperate.

I've been in a dry spell from all drugs, just because I don't have continuous access to them and have to routinely go out of my way to get ANYTHING. I got a lot of mental stuff, tings like OCD, sexual trauma, persistent depressive disorder, and now maybe even some kind of BPD, which has completley taken over my life, and I find comfort in not worrying about what to think. Ketamine helps with that. Hydromorphone helps with that, though I only got a chance to experience it once. Psychedelics help with that, and they usually help for days and weeks afterwards, but again, I've hit a dry spell.

I just need something in my body to keep me going. Alcohol is a disgusting drug and I hate the burn of it. I hate the nausea and headache you get with it afterwards, and I hate that it doesn't compare to the other drugs I took in ANY way.

Fuck everybody. I hate this.

Can poppyseed tea still be brewed from breadseed poppies?

I hear a lot of stuff about "legal" opioids here. Things like loperamide, codeine (where applicable), 7-OH/Kratom, but I rarely hear about poppyseed tea.

Is it because washed seeds aren't even worth the hassle due to their almost negligable alkaloid content? Is it because it's unknown how much is in it, so a little can cause an overdose if you're unlucky?

I'd like to hear why, lol.

Sometimes, when my intrusive addictive thoughts are really bad, I stare at the molecules of the drug to imagine what it used to be like.

This is half a joke post. It's something serious I do, but it's too funny to be a serious post.

I don't even know why, but it makes me feel better to look at a fuckass molecule of ketamine or hydromorphone or something and imagine. I literally catch myself smiling. What the fuck.

This is what a dry spell of drugs does to a person. Shit.

What's something you've always wanted to say about yourself?

A lot of us drug addicts aren't heard by people, rendering us a bit sheltered off from communicating with others.

What's something you've always wanted to say? It could be something stupid, silly, something to someone, a rant, I don't fucking know. I just want to hear from you guys.

Tonight, I want to be a bit introspective. So, if you'd like, give me something.

For those of you who started drugs before the brain properly developed (younger than 25, I'd say), how has it affected you, if at all?

I just wanted to hear your guys' stories about drug use as a teenager/young adult, if applicable. I'm sorry to all of you who have gone through drug use at such a young age.

Yeah, that's pretty much my whole question lol.

Alcohol ain't shit after all the drugs I've tried.

I don't know if it's just me, but alcohol is so not worth it anymore. The hangover is awful. I could feel way better on other things like ketamine or MDMA or opioids.

I apologize if I'm coming across as bitchy. I just wanted to state my opinion lol.

For those who take psychedelics (or other drugs if applicable), how do you apply what you experienced to your sober life?

I want to get myself to use drugs to better my sober life, if that makes sense. Psychedelics are the only drugs that I don't feel a need to redose or take it again until weeks/months after.

But, I've been wanting to try to lengthen that afterglow in my life through different methods. I was considering meditation but I'm not sure where to start.

Asides from weed, are there any psychoactive drugs that reduce nausea/vomiting in any way?

Isn't THC a decent antiemetic? I'm not sure. But, if it is, basically something like that. I really enjoy knowing that drugs can help nausea to some extent cause I got a fear of vomiting, and it seems that most drugs affect the CTZ enough to induce nausea/vomiting.

Agh.

I just recently watched the Michael Jackson movie and remebered he was a drug user like us. Does anybody have personal experience with drugs like Propofol or Demerol (Meperidine)?

I'm aware he did benzos as well, which was indirectly the cause of his death (Propofol being the main cause).

I don't hear much of the two mentioned in the title. I mean, propofol is still widely used as an anesthetic, but Demerol is so uncommon that I've never heard of it until a couple months ago.

(I'm ashamed to not know about his drug use until recently lol. I grew up with his music, so I guess I never knew much past that.)

I wish there was some kind of website where vendors can input their range in which they're able to deliver and then drop it off at a designated place.

I feel really stupid lol.

You know those little canisters of whipped cream that you can buy at the store? Not the whippets, the metal ones that you buy in the freezer section. Yeah, those. Can't you just spray the contents of those into a balloon and inhale?

I hear people talking about whippets all the time, and I was just like: "there has to be an easier, more accesible way, no?"

I was just curious cause I know that different psychedelics have different physical, emotional, and mental effects, like how LSD and LSA are so insanely different.

Is this the same with different benzos, like clonazepam, alprazolam, diazepam, lorazepam, and even designer benzos like ethylbromazolam or flualprazolam?

I have my own experiences with different drugs (ketamine, MDMA, hydromorphone, LSA, alcohol, etc, I'm very active on this sub as you guys know lol) but I feel very limited in my experiences. So, since I don't have any drugs on me, I was wondering what your guys' experiences were like on different drugs.

Honestly, I'm looking more for experiences like being on stimulants, sedatives, or opioids. Prescription drugs, bascially.

My friend gave me IR 2mg (1mg x 2) pills of PMS-hydromorphone today. I'm a severe emetophobic (in other words; a pussy when it comes to emesis-inducing drugs) so I crushed up the pills, dissolved them in water, and took little swigs of em throughout the day (within 6 hours), along with 8mg ondansetron.

Despite my very small dose (probably 0.5mg at a time), I felt some noticeable sedation. The itchiness is SEVERE (especially on the scalp and neck), but kind of nice because it feels nice to itch. No nodding or slowed breathing. Relaxation and content definetley, but the dose was so low I didn't get any noticeable pain relief. I guess I'm really used to doing ketamine where the doses I take cause really potent pain relief to the point I can't feel pain, so I guess I'll have to get my body used to hydro one day to get to that point.

All in all, it's a pretty nice drug! A bit underwhelming because of how low I went, so next time I'll take 1mg in full most likely. That is...if I get more pills. I can see why people like opioids lol. But, no euphoria or anything. I just got a mild "everything-is-okay" feeling.

I've been taking little doses throughout the last 4 hours, which is giving me some nice sedation and calmness without any nausea (though I have taken 8mg ondansetron preventatively).

I can see why people would like this I guess. It's quite nice, but it makes it hard to do stuff because all I wanna do is lie down lol. The only kind of shitty thing is the ITCHINESS. Oh my GOD. The ITCHINESS dude. I feel like a tweaker lmao. And the general feeling of unwellness due to the dry mouth + nose. Fuck histamine lol.

Other than that, I feel pretty at-peace.

This question is exempting trace/laced amounts of fentanyl in non-fentanyl products. That can be INSANELY common, I understand.

I was just curious why I've never once seen fentanyl patches/pills/needles/etc. Is it just the fact it's so stigmatized and fatal? Is it that people don't know how to handle it well? Is it how tightly regulated it is?
