And now here I was, Valerie the adventurer, bound into a holy quest to fight back against the tide, my class a [Paladin]. A holy warrior bent on smiting evil. Though fighting demons was rather beyond me, at Level 1. I still had to become much more powerful before I ventured out to fight the demons on their home turf, in the Hell Lands.
One thing I did notice was that everywhere I went it was only whites though. The lack of racial diversity seeming strange, until it was explained to me the demons were all black women. It wasn't long after that I had overheard a rumor, when I had asked about the demons, that they had collaborators and converts. White women who give into their temptations, submit and become spaded. Devoting themselves to worshipping the black race, instead of the goddess. Some even spoke that humans could even be turned into more of their kind! Which was shocking to say the least, but I had no idea if it was racist fearmongering or actually real.
It made me wary, but I'd not seen any so-called race traitors and their mark. Yet.
This was the world I found myself in. How am I suppose to be a hero here in this crazy world? When I was summoned to a realm of fantasy, I was hoping for something more normal!
Well. I was told to spend time training myself up. Get experience. I suppose that's what I'll do. I'm finally getting enough levels to hold my own, going from town to town taking jobs and ranking up. Though I try to keep my identity close to my chest. Wouldn't do for the wrong person to know about me, since I'd have a target on my back.
Unfortunately, my class is disclosed on my adventuring card. And while I don't need to show it often, I do need to present it to guild staff. If the wrong person saw that and leaked it...
All it would take is a well placed spy to point me in your direction. I'd have no chance against a demon. Plant a spade on me. Mark me for the cause. A helpful way to identify my new allegiance, and tool to ensure my compliance.
Oh sure, I might resist. But the corruption is unstoppable~
From there, it's just a matter of time until I accept black supremacy! A convert as powerful as myself would then make for an excellent new demon~
So that's my prompt, I hope you enjoying the worldbuilding I laid out for this fantasy world.
