this happened last year and i still think about it all the time.

i was seeing this guy casually. we'll call him jake. he had a roommate, dan. dan was always around. quiet. played video games a lot. never really talked to me much. just nodded when i walked in.

one night jake and i were in his room. door was closed but not locked. we were in the middle of things. i was on top. very into it. very loud.

door opens.

dan walks in.

i freeze. jake doesn't. just keeps his hands on my hips.

dan looks at us. looks at jake. says "oh sorry" but doesn't leave.

jake says "what do you need?"

dan says "nothing. just bored."

and then he sits down on the desk chair. pulls out his phone. starts scrolling.

i'm just sitting there naked on top of his roommate, trying to process what's happening.

jake grabs my hips and starts moving again. i look at him like "are you serious?" and he just smiles.

so i keep going. with dan sitting three feet away. watching his phone. occasionally glancing up.

i came. hard. i couldn't help it. the risk of someone watching just broke something in my brain.

after i finished, jake told me to get on my knees and finish him. i did. with dan still there. still on his phone. still occasionally looking up.

when jake came, dan finally stood up and walked out. didn't say a word.

i asked jake if that was normal. he said "dan's cool."

i hooked up with jake a few more times after that. dan never walked in again. but sometimes i'd catch him looking at me differently. like he knew something.

he did.
