I know what I want. I’ve been doing this long enough that I know this isn’t easy. So, we can’t be out here doing the “it is what it is” and “let’s just see what happens” kind of games. Actually, no games, right? Come in with your boundaries drawn, state what is and isn’t possible. Tell me where you’re unfulfilled and what you’re in the market for. Emotional maturity and situational awareness.

For me, this is all just kinda fun. Even the catfish and the bots amuse me. But you gotta laugh at the ridiculousness or it can drive you crazy. But as much as the thrill of the chase is fun, I do want to find my one partner to focus on. I’ve had my success in the past, which is the only reason why I keep at it. I know what’s possible when you find that person. I know what it takes to make it work. It’s not a fantasy of sparks and flames igniting after 1 day of chatting. It’s not love bombing. It’s hard fucking work. It’s treating each other like humans and not some pocket escape drone you talk AT instead of talking TO.
