My dear friend,
I am writing this letter to you from one of the grandest liners on the seas! Our honeymoon from the ruins of Greece to the beaches of France has been splendid! We are now on our way across the Atlantic to New York. My darling wife has packed a little heavier for this voyage than I expected. She is not particularly the kind of lady to overpack. I inquired about this to her on the train to Cherbourg. She merely gave me a knowing smile and said “You will see.”
My ability to read other people’s expressions may be lacking, but I believe she was hinting at the moment she has been teasing me with throughout our honeymoon! Consummation of our marriage at last? She did seem like she was scheming something. It was enough to even make our stewardess accompanying us blush. Clearly my wife has confided to her about her plans. Oh how I hope that’s what it is! I hope the walls of our parlor suite are thick enough, what a scandal that would be aboard of people heard!
On another note, I do loath the obligations I have as a gentleman aboard. This voyage is a delight, though the content games of bridge and poker in the smoking room after each meal; Discussions of business and politics over cigars and brandy. It all is incredibly tiresome. The other gentlemen are too polite to say, but I know they look down on me somewhat for my stature. Money be damned, if you don’t have the looks of a wealthy man, you are looked at differently. A voyage such as this and I’m not spending more of it with my dear wife. If only I can give up the duties of a gentleman, just for the rest of our honeymoon at least.
I do hope you’re fairing well, my dear friend. Despite my woes, we must find time to meet again when we reach New York. My wife would love to meet you! I’ll write again , my friend. Hopefully before this voyage is done.

Hello! Probably doing a niche sounding prompt, but the anniversary of the Titanic sinking has gotten me interested in the late Edwardian/ocean liner era and aesthetic! I left the date and ship name blank and leaving it open if we want to come up with our own ship and time! We can do that or incorporate our RP and have it happen on the Titanic.
