A little context, I'm a writer by trade. Fiction, non-fiction, you throw something at me, I can write about. My fiancée loves reading erotica so I thought it would be fun to write some for her. Of course she loves it (yes she's bias, but I'll take it) and has been encouraging me to start sharing my work with others.

So here are my questions. It seems that the genre is predominantly female writen, is that a preference for readers, or just a coincidence? If it is a preference, what is it that women authors get right that male authors don't?
