When you massively undervalue your content, you don’t just hurt yourself. You slowly create a new expectation for buyers. Then sellers charging normal/fair prices get treated like they’re “overpriced” when they’re really just valuing their work and time realistically.

People forget content creation actually takes time and effort. Filming, editing, outfits, makeup, storage, promotion, customs, dealing with payment platform issues, chargebacks, bans, difficult buyers, all of it adds up fast. It’s not just “sending pics.” pre made or not like regardless if you have already done the content or taken the pics all of the above mentioned still had to go into it.

And let’s be so for real for a second A lot of buyers don’t even consume 1000 photos. They just see “big number = good deal.” So sellers start competing with quantity instead of quality, personality, connection, creativity, consistency, or niche branding.

That race ends badly for everyone.

I’m not saying people can’t run sales or discounts. Do what works for you. But I do think we need to stop normalize pricing ourselves into the ground just to compete. You do not need to bankrupt your own business model to make sales. Desperation pricing attracts the worst buyers too. The ones who expect lifetime content, instant replies, customs, emotional girlfriend therapy, and your firstborn child because they spent $7.43.☠️

Normalize sustainable pricing. Normalize smaller curated bundles. Normalize valuing your time. Normalize saying no to buyers who want the moon wrapped in fishnet stockings for pocket lint.

You can still make sales without undervaluing yourself completely like remember you are running a business, not a humanitarian aid program for horny men. 💀
