A few years ago when I was much stupider than I am now, my ex bf had this sketchy ass guy that he bought “mushrooms” and “edibles” from. At the time I thought they were the real deal (even tho the mushrooms didn’t do shit), and I trusted my ex because he said his guy was good. (There’s a reason why he’s my ex)
One day the dude threw in a freebie and told us it was an edible, which I assumed was weed. We got home and took the edible after ordering pizza. I could feel it instantly, which I NEVER do when I take real thc edibles.
This high was NOT weed. I have no idea what it was. The first thing I felt was extreme dread and fuzziness, and even tho we just ordered a pizza the last thing I wanted to do was eat. I told my ex that I am going to sleep this off asap because it was not weed and it’s making me feel strange in a bad way.
I then got into bed and tried to sleep but my body was wide awake and whenever I closed my eyes i saw intense tv static that distracted me from sleep. I could barely keep my eyes closed I was so awake. My skin felt itchy and jittery and I wanted to peel my skin off.
This is the most anxiety I’ve ever felt in my life, I could not stop shaking and moving around. My heart was pounding, so I tried to listen to music to calm me down and it did the opposite. The music made me even more anxious. The music I usually like to listen to sounded like demonic nonsense (except for TV girl for some reason).
My ex started playing Tetris next to me for like 5 hours without stopping. He said he felt pretty normal, even tho he was also jittery like me. I kept seeing him bounce his legs in the corner of my eye and it really freaked me out to see sudden movements. I felt extremely agitated, paranoid, and anxious.
I stayed awake for like 36 hours straight because I could not sleep at all. The static and flashes of light I saw when I closed my eyes annoyed me so much that I hated blinking at the time.
My ex said everything was fine and I was just overreacting a little, but I genuinely have no idea what my ex got from his guy or why they both said it was an “edible”
(The edible was a large green gummy that looked identical to the ones at the dispo, but it had no weedy flavor and it had an extremely bitter aftertaste)
I have no idea what I took because I was stupid and didn’t test it. This whole situation could have gone a lot worse and I’m glad whatever I took didn’t kill me. I’ve grown as a person since this experience a few years ago but I never figured out any info on what the “edible” was and I’m curious everyone’s thoughts.
Any ideas to what they gave me?
