I just found out about my favorite subs personal life

This isn’t an expose but a genuine attempt for a discussion/your thoughts on the situation.

My favorite sub has been with me for a year and a half now. He is my age but has been genuinely the most consistent and best behaved sub that I’ve witnessed.

He is genuinely the text example of what a finsub should be.

Sending with the utmost gratitude with no other intentions. He’s never asked me for anything beyond my presence and guidance. He’s respectful of my time and no matter the figure he’s sent me he never expressed anything that could hint at him ever thinking he’s entitled to get anything beyond being my finsub.

He’s sent gifts of a few hundred dollars without being prompted to, smaller consistent gifts as well, he’s sent poems, good morning texts and many long texts that were like odes to me.
Beyond that we have great banter on a personal level as well.

Now I’ve learned that he has a whole ass family.

I’m well aware this is common. Don’t get me wrong.

But this finsub is really young. The wife is as well. The kid is just a few years old.

He never mentioned this before and I don’t know how to feel. It isn’t lying per se but I do feel like he should’ve informed me, if not in the beginning at least earlier than now.

Should I drop him?
