I go out with this guy, we’ve been genuinely talking to each other and getting to know each other, this man had no red flags previously to showing up.
We meet at a restaurant. He shows up drunk. Giving off extreme player energy and smooth talking, extremely touchy feely, being obnoxious.
He starts saying out of NOWHERE, VERBATIM, LOUDLY in this crowded place, in response to me asking him about his DAY:
“I’m not even about paying to cum, I don’t care about cumming tonight, but I’ll pay you anything, come back to my place, I’ll pay anything to cum but that’s not even what I care about with you, but I would”
I can not emphasise enough that we’ve been genuinely connecting and getting to know each other up until this point, and the only time money was brought up before we met, was when he said he’s looking for a mutually beneficial relationship and likes to take care of his woman / provide. Nothing sexual was ever discussed.
I’m so turned off and jaded / embarrassed by this.
I left quickly but I can’t believe I read the vibes between us so wrong, he was texting long, thoughtful, insightful texts and then shows up and treats me as if we had discussed having sex for money, which was never on the table. And just complete opposite vibes from the week of texting back and forth that we had.
Like I swear I was texting a whole different person vs. who showed up. Ugh. The search continues.
