Confused about my co-intern’s repeated touch,mistake or intentional?
I (M) have been doing an internship since February, and I am confused about the behavior of one of my female co-interns, who also happens to be my classmate. Over the past two months, there have been several incidents where she touched me in ways that felt inappropriate, but each time she quickly said “sorry” as if it was accidental.
In February, while we were walking, she suddenly linked her arm with mine for a couple of seconds and then immediately said “sorry sorry.” Later, while we were in a cab going to the office, she rested her head on my shoulder for a couple of seconds before removing it and again said sorry. In March, when we were going to another building with another female intern, she again put her arm into mine and repeated the same “sorry sorry.”
In April, things became more confusing. Couple of times, while passing me in the corridor, I felt her hand touch my groin area. I did not react, and she did not say anything. Even though the college corridor is quite spacious, this happened unexpectedly. On another occasion, while we were at the admin counter, I felt her chest brush against my elbow when she suddenly came close, and this happened also couple of times. After this, when we went back to the office, I also felt like she tried to hold my hand or arm while walking, so I started keeping some distance. also there are several instance where she is try to be touchy, and also when we are sited near to each other they put there hand on my thighs many times
Now I am genuinely unsure whether these repeated incidents are just mistakes or if she is intentionally trying to get touchy.
