I’m dropping one of my real heavy hitters tonight—Ironwood #4 (1991)—because I need to clear the air about why I'm here. To be completely honest, trying to find a home for these vintage, out-of-print titles has been an eye-opening nightmare. I have tried everywhere. From the electronic bay that outlaws real history, to the corporate "fake book" marketplace, all the way to the rest of the major platforms. Everywhere you go on the internet now, there is an algorithmic Gatekeeper, a blocker, or some digital hall-monitor trying to shut down the culture. The only corner that hasn't messed with my hustle so far is Mercari. I always thought the whole point of these online spaces was to stand up, speak your mind, and connect with other collectors. Instead, the Gatekeepers have turned it into a maze of endless censorship just to showcase a piece of vintage comic history. But you know what? I do not care. I am not going anywhere. I have a vault of 70 vintage out-of-print adult manga and comic books that need new homes. Since this specific community actually appreciates raw, underground history, this stash is for you guys. Their loss is your gain. Fun fact for the nerds out there: The creator of this series, Bill Willingham, is the same guy who did the art for the old Cyberpunk 2020 tabletop RPG expansions before later creating Fables for DC Comics!
