Hey I'm Joe, 32M and from Hastings. I am 5'3, little overweight (getting that under control and on track to be finished by the end of the year). I've been told I have a nice face, usually have some facial hair, good hygiene. Happy to exchange pictures early/right away because I know attraction matters.

Personality wise, I'd like to think I can be quite thoughtful, good listener, have a decent but quite silly sense of humour, love a good pun. I am definitely an oversharer.

Socially I’ve got a solid group of friends, but as the years go by and I see them settling down, getting married, building their lives with someone, I can’t help but feel a little left behind. I’ve only had one short relationship in the past, and I'm fine with that, but more recently I've been really feeling my life is lacking the companionship/closeness/intimacy that comes with a relationship.

I am definitely a hopeless romantic, I blame all the romcoms. I love movies and TV and would happily spend evenings watching something together in person or virtually. I have the unapologetic taste of a teenage girl when it comes to romcoms/romance movies and series, but watch a bit of everything other than anime. I've just finished Bridgerton and I’m deciding what to get overly emotionally invested in next. My music taste is a bit all over the place, usually though I lean towards indie folk. I’ll happily share playlists if you’re curious and would like to judge me. More recently I listen to a lot of Bon Iver, Oh Wonder, Mree, Mahalia.

I don’t smoke and I rarely drink, and I’d prefer someone similar. Smoking would be a deal breaker sorry. I am only really looking for someone in the UK too as I am not too sure I have long distance in me!
