Princess Madeline was the only daughter of High King Abenaith the ruler of Vrasira and Island kingdom of the southern coast of the continent of Cofai. Cofai had once been dominated by the Lytherian Empire but it had collapsed 30 years ago leaving a power vacuum to be filled by various war lords. No one put up a fight as the stormed the palace slaughtering the servants and capturing the royal family. Soon the King the Queen and their 5 sons were dead, killed by the war lord. All that was left was the king's young daughter the Princess Madeline.
