How can I tell what drug my coworker is taking?
Yesterday and today my coworker seemed to be under the influence of something.
He’d become more “lucid” when customers are at the till but still slow. When there isn’t he would be almost frozen in place slowly rocking and leaning forward.
For example yesterday he was holding onto a broom and was frozen just slowly leaning. He stayed this way for 5-10 minutes.
Today seemed a little better than what I had seen on cameras yesterday but I still took him home. He would rub his eyes then be frozen like he couldn’t put them down. Over and over again.
He did try to call out “sick” but my boss had him come in anyway. Idk it doesnt seem like he’s just plain sick.
He was able to give me directions to his house. I asked if he was okay and he claimed to not know what I was talking about.
He’s on my shift tomorrow and I’m getting Narcan just in case. I’m in no place to tell him to stop or whatnot but I can’t have something happen and he overdoses or something. Or nodding out in front of customers.
Idk if I’m overreacting. He’s young and I worry for him. He’s been becoming my friend over the last few months and I just want to be aware of what this could be possibly.
