What's something you wish the wider world understood/knew about being a little, a mommy or the MDlg dynamic as a whole?

One of the things always on my mind is trying to educate others about MDlg relationship dynamics, and the identities of little and mommy/CG. With certain groups of people (kink, poly, queer), it's so much easier to simply explain what it is, and there's often understanding and/or affirmation from them. With the broader world, there's still a lot of shame and stigma to overcome.

What you wish others knew can address any of these dynamics and audiences. I'm just curious to hear the perspectives of others. Please share your thoughts.

Just gushing about my babygirl

She's working from home, today, and so I've been able to take care of her. I made her a yummy, healthy breakfast, coffee just the way she likes it, and I got her cozied in with the kitties to keep her company while she types away at the computer. Her work is at a clinic that helps kids who need lots of support to be happy, healthy and successful in their life, which she loves, so it makes her happy to be in big girl mode on those days.

I'm making her halibut fish and chips for lunch (one of her all time favorites), along with her favorite soda pop. She's warm, cozy and living her best life. I'm just a happy mommy, watching her be so happy, cozy and shining so bright.

New location based MDlg group!

Hey all! I decided that I wanted to see more local activity for the MDlg community, so I have founded r/MDlgCascadia/ for those of us who live in the Pacific Northwest USA and west coast of Canada. Cascadia is a bioregion that crosses parts of British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming and northern California. If you are on the fringes of that (Nevada, SoCal, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico), you're also welcome to join! Heck, if you're willing to travel to Cascadia, you're welcome to join. I would like to have regional meetups and connect people on the local level so they can have irl community, potentially including some MDlg playdates.

I love this community we have on this sub, and I'm not going anywhere. The MDlg Relationship Project is still being actively worked on, as well. I just wanted to be able to have more local irl connections, plan meetups, etc.

If you feel inspired and want to found your own regional MDlg group, you're extremely welcome to look at my sub and clip my rules so that it's easier for you to get up and running.
