Orion's mother (polished version with picture of her)
We know almost nothing about Orion’s mother in Eternum. She’s barely mentioned, and even Nancy only knew his father. That silence feels way too intentional.
So here’s my theory:
I believe she was one of the Eternals — extremely powerful and experienced users from the early days of the Eternum project, long before it went global. She lived through the harsh, dangerous version of Eternum with no Praetorians, no safety systems, and a very unstable neural implant. She saw the real horrors behind the scenes. I imagine her power as Orion's perfected power (especially that she can hold her "dark form" for hours if she wants), maybe this can explain why Orion can stand against Thanatos longer than others.
At some point, she discovered the Founder’s true methods and William Bardot’s ambitions. This led to serious conflicts, so she made the hardest decision of her life: she left the Eternals, abandoned that world of power, and chose to live a normal life. She got married and had Orion.
When Orion was born, she immediately sensed he had 100% compatibility — possibly even stronger than her own. Terrified that the Founder and Ulysses would turn her son into a weapon for collecting the Gems of Doom, she did two things:
1)She suppressed his powers so he would appear completely normal.
2)She left the family to draw attention away from them, hoping to protect both Orion and his father.
This would explain why Orion almost never dreams normally, why Luna’s powers don’t work on him, and why he was able to awaken such strong abilities the moment he entered Eternum — they were always inside him, just sealed away.
Her Personality
I imagine her as a fiery, strong-willed woman — inspired by Kushina from Naruto, but with her own flavor. Direct, blunt, swears without shame, and scary when angry… but deeply kind on the inside. She’s not the type to punch people randomly — she’s more likely to scold you harshly with tough love.
I really hope we get to see her eventually call Orion out:
“I did everything — everything — so they wouldn’t find you… and you still ran straight into Eternum?! You idiot!”
She would be the one person who can remind Orion that building a giant harem isn’t the flex he thinks it is, and that he needs to face reality.
Other Details I Hope For
•She and Idriel were friends (or at least close) back in the early days. This could explain why Idriel speaks to Orion with such familiarity.
•Her greatest weakness is her longing for the normal family life she gave up. She still misses Orion’s father and dreams of being a proper wife and mother.
•In the ending, I want her to return as a guide and teacher, not a problem-solver. She helps Orion understand his power, but ultimately tells him: “This is your fight. Your life. You decide how it ends.”
And most importantly… I want to see that emotional family dinner. Orion finally sitting at a table with both his parents. His strong, larger-than-life mother being gentle and soft with the man she once loved — showing her son that his dad wasn’t always the distant workaholic he grew up with.
What do you guys think? I want to know about others' theories and opinions. Fix my mistakes if you noticed them.
(I am sorry if I made you angry with reposting this, but my first post about her was really long and I needed to shorten it to make it readable and connected)
Finished OiAL
I finished this game, finally. Yeah, I screwed up every woman but not Aiko! I am really satisfied with this game, and found Caribdis's massage about Eternum too. I actually started playing once in a lifetime after Eternum to see how his first work was, and oh boy, there were tons of similarities and same things between eternum and once in a lifetime!

Orion's mom
We don't know anything about how Orion got his power. But I think that he inherited them from his mom. Can I write my own theory about his mom?
So, I think that she was one of the eternals. She was in project eternum long before it was globally released (probably in early stages), saw errors from neural implant, met harsh conditions of early eternum without security and praetorians. She was very experienced and powerful one. But then she found out about founder's methods and William Bardot's dreams, and this leads to arguments and fights with them, so she leaves her position as eternal and starts living in normal married life as wife of Orion's father. (I think they get married after she left)
After Orion was born, she senses that he has 100% compatibility. To prevent founder and Ulysses use him for themselves, she suppresses his powers and leaves him with his dad in Kredon to not let them locate him. That would explain why Orion doesn't dream, and his superpower and ability to jump between Earth and Eternum would be explained as "Inherited abilities that aren't really developed but got awakened again after entering Eternum".
About her personality... I imagine her fiery, warrior spirited woman that can use slurs and talk directly without shame. Mostly imagine her like Kushina from Naruto.
And I would want his mom to be someone that reminds Orion that having harem isn't really cool like he imagines and he needs to look at life.
And I would love to see how she scolds him, saying "I did everything to NOT let them find you, but you just screwed up everything by entering eternum!". 😅
Well I know she would look like Kushina by personality, but I imagine her not very punching woman and more like direct woman. And at least Orion would have a mom that could beat the shit out of Thanatos (I know it's his duel, so his mom would be his teacher on how to use his power).
Another my theory is that his mom and Idriel were like friends. This could explain why Idriel knows him perfectly (I know she literally saw him lots of times in past, just I am letting my imagination get wild). At least this would give us some reason of why Idriel is chained.
Now the most important part: her dream. I have a thought about this too. As a woman that loved Orion's father and Orion but left them for their safety, she would dream of living in normal family life. Being good wife and mother, seeing Orion grow... I think she would say something like "If all of this never happened, maybe I would be living in my dream right now...". At least I want to make a connection between Orion's father's workaholic side and Orion's mother. (I am sorry if I made some mistakes.)
Ps: please write your own thoughts about Orion's mother. I really want to know others' opinions.
