For me is near 10mg xanax. A fuck load.

However it varies depending on your tolerance and it must be delivered by a strong agent like a triazolobenzo or a z-drug like Ambien.

Now, formally, defined as the dose where you don't blackout, dont get knocked down nor get into deep sedation, but are close to it.

What it gives? Nothing

What it takes away? Everything. Every single negative thought, including inhibitions (that could be dangerous) but you're still in control of the wheel. No violent, uncontrolled behavior, not shitty actions you'd regret.

Tho everyone is going to notice you are high, they will notice more than yourself (tho you'll feel wasted) so its better to avoid social interactions anyways and lock yourself at home

Never get outside under no circumstances. No exceptions. If you do, never alone, get a partner or a "trip buddy" and dont fucking drive

You'll totally feel euphoria but, if you trully introspect or are capable of dissect it, is rather bliss or at least a blissful euphoria.

Since I made some post mentioning this term, I wanted to clarify what it means bc is amazing and genuinelly interesting

At equipotent doses of 6mg - 7mg xanax. But before going into details (and in case I black out anyways lol)

For those fella that has access and ever try higher doses, some warnings:

1. DONT do it. Its always a bad idea to fuck around with benzos. Take as prescribed (if you have a prescription)

2. If you are prescribed Valium, DONT do it especially, you dont want to run out earlier

3. If you still have access, wont risk running out early, and still insist, do it at most one or twice per week. And on weekends. Valium metabolizes into nordiazepam with a 100hs duration. You dont want accumulation at these levels unless you want to fall asleep at work at random times when the concentrations peaks enough in the bloodstream.

I guess thats the reason doctors puts a hard cap at 40mg per day max

After the warnings, now back to the main point

Why is king?

Unlike xanax, it doesnt hit immediatelly, it climbs slowly and you feel like if you are travelling on a train to the clouds. There is certain joy in feeling that climb until it peaks, opposed to xanax one-shot hit.

There are people who enjoy the opposite effect. Is very personal

Might be weird but affect tolerance less because of the slow changes on the transmitters. The brain wouldnt register such fast changes like with Xanax and adapt to it quicker. Valium is a bit more gentle with the CNS

High muscle relaxation , and body high. Many folks enjoy it, it depends on the taste.

Afterglow: is proportional to the dose, but is due to the array of metabolites that are active benzos after the 4hs duration. Sometimes I feel this more enjoyable than the first high

Duration: I think this is the most obvious part. Xanax in practice, last 1hr - 2hr. Vals between 4hs to 6hs, the higher the dose, the longer it last (be careful with this and your job and other compromises)

Less likelihood of blacking out. Not sure the reason but I found it much harder to blackout than xanax. The times I've blacked out on Valium, I had mixed with xanax. Valium alone, it never happened to me.

In general is a more "peaceful" benzo but , at the equipotent doses, you would get the same effects but dilated on time as I described

I think I survived the horizont of events dose because of short half life and a fatty mral. I think I will not make it this time and blackout or sleep after the 10mg redose

If I still awake in 1hr either the pills were underdosed or I have extreme tolerance (hope is nor the case , will very rare)

I think the spreading and fatty meal played a big role

First took 10mg, had a BBQ and everything fine.

Then came the 2nd dose of 10mg

They were 3hs apart one from the other

Im going to watch a movie with fiancee prob will be knocked asleep but I will do my best to be awake and enjoy the events horizon dose

No , clonazepam is not the same potency, whether the tables says it or not.

To begin with, kpins are regular benzodiazepines whereas alprazolam is a triazolobenzo

Therefore is not a match in strenght, onset, nor subjective effects after intake.

IME kpins are weaker, and, most importantly, are mainly anticonvulsants and target more directly physiological / autonomic GABA populations of the CNS, meaning its very sedating and with more muscle relaxation properties, and super effective for epillepsy rather than anxiety disorders.

Xanax, on the other hand, targets more the prefontral cortex directly and have higher anxiolitic and psychological effects.

I know Xanax XR exists but that is mainly, as far as I know, by wrapping alp in a pill that dissolves more gradually, is not a different compound.

Like , come on, there should exists a pharma version of xanax that last the same (or close to) kpins and, if there is a rc analogue that does just that, then it should be FDA approved for GAD and not be just rc

It strikes a perfect balance between being a psycho killer like xanax, way more recreational than kpins and it has and has such a long half life that you can be on a cloud , enjoy things of life and even be functional when you need

I was in pain after benzo appointment. I had already taken 10mg for this visit of xanax. With my tolerance I thought "this should be fine".

It wasnt, the procedure was awful anyways. So I stopped at the local bar just for a pint. A friend of mine eventually gifted me a small flask of pot oil.

So, having this, decided "why not". Took 10mg more and a bunch of doses of the oil.

This was at around 1pm. Woke up at 1am

Genuinelly my first benzo time travel. I always wondered how it was, while you're awake, your memory and attention is fragmented, while you eventually realize it and realize you're wrecked

Then I dont know what I was doing with my phone in the couch, and suddenly it was 1am

And then it came the pain.

Not because of me, because my wife was distraguht, not understanding why I was unconcious and not responding to her attempts to wake me up.

She didnt call 911 (thankful of that) but she went out for a walk, just because the panic she felt watching me like that.

We reconciliated , I told her the truth, I almost lost her.

Then I understood the nature of benzo "time travelers" : It ates away your loved ones, it would destroy your careers or employments, and it would end up, innevitably, on a psych hospital.

You can only do that (for a while) if you are single, you are rich and dont need a job or you just survive in a junkie lifestyle. You can't benzo time-travel if you have any kind of thing or any loved one to care for during the day

I was about to put this under "Support" or "Warning" , but it was my real first time, I hope the last time, but I wanted to warn all of the readers who ever wondered what is "benzo time travel"

Stay away. Just came down to my regular (prescribed) dose and its more than 24hs and I am fine. We are talking a 7mg difference.

But you def dont want to CT it either.

The problem are mixes and the bare reality that really high doses of benzos can eat entire days at the time out of your life and that your loved ones

Please **never, ever** time travel on benzos. Is as scary as it sounds and it never ends well. Love you all. Stay safe
