Let’s face it: affairs are about fantasy. I’ve tried, REALLY tried, to be open to all possibilities, but in the end I just end up disappointed, unsatisfied, empty, and ashamed that I keep choosing the wrong men when deep down I know what I want but am afraid to ask for fear of being thought unreasonable. 

So I’ve decided I’m just going to put it all out there and describe my ideal candidate. I know it’s not likely I’ll find him on Reddit, and I’ll probably delete this quickly, but fuck it, what do I have to lose??

My ideal man: 
*35-50 age range
*Reasonably fit. Doesn’t mean perfection, but I do adore muscle-y arms and chest 🙈
*Full head of hair
*Clean shaven
*Great at conversation and subtle flirting, with a sharp wit—FYI, constantly being sarcastic or mean isn’t the same thing
*Has kids
*Centrist to leftist but absolutely no right-wing conservatives
*Is local to MD or travels here regularly
*Has flexibility and independence in their life; able to maintain a regular meeting cadence

A little about me: woman, mom, married, 5’2, 130 lbs, brown hair and eyes. I like coffee, books, really spicy food, all different sorts of music, airports, and I kind of really want to get into birding 😅. I hate seltzer, because I don’t want to waste my time with a drink that almost tastes like something but also doesn’t give you the courtesy of tasting like nothing.
