I moved to a new area about 2 years ago, and it has been hard to meet new people, so here I am. I live a peaceful life at home in the middle of the woods with my two pups to balance out the stress from working in academia (Professor). If looks are important, I am 5'11'', beard, long hair, in a man bun, dadbod, basically a nerdy woodsman.

Some of my hobbies include astronomy and carpentry. I plan to buy a big-boy telescope eventually and get into astrophotography, given how dark the sky is where I live. I have built massive projects in my homestead, like a fence for the pups, a deck, and a shed to store my firewood. I am also into music, particularly rock, and Tool is one of my favorite bands of all time. I read and wish I had the time to do more of that, and I like sci-fi!
