I have my own opinion on this, but I’m interested in hearing about others’ experiences.
For some people, adopting a masculine aesthetic represents strength, authority, or emotional control. At the same time, it can also create a safe space to explore surrender to others.
I don’t think the desire for submission is linked to weakness, but rather to the idea of trust, the kind of trust that allows you to consciously choose to relinquish control. When this is combined with a masculine, hung, and muscled man, a tension develops between what is socially perceived as “strong” and the intimate desire to be a slut.
And that tension is part of the kink.
A bit of background on me: I’m 34, masculine, muscled, and a former military man who, over a few years, made the transition.
